Designation - Operation and maintenance.
A. The Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission is hereby authorized to lease, purchase, or otherwise acquire the land between Kelley Avenue and Eastern Avenue within the boundary of Northeast 63rd Street on the north and Deep Fork Creek on the south and extending along the public right-of-way of Interstate Highway Number 240 to the junction of Interstate Highway Number 35, three-quarters (3/4) of a mile east of Eastern Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Such land shall be used to establish a state park to be designated and known as the "Cowboy Hall of Fame Park". The Commission shall be responsible for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of such park.
B. The Commission may contract with the Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, the City of Oklahoma City, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame Foundation, or any other entity for the purpose of landscaping, beautification, capital improvement, operation, and maintenance of the "State Capitol Park" and the "Cowboy Hall of Fame Park".
