§74-1052. Governor as ex officio member - Assistant.

The Governor shall be, ex officio, this state's member of the Southern Interstate Nuclear Board as established by Article II of the Compact. Provided, that whenever the Governor shall deem it advisable to do so he may appoint an assistant in the Governor's office or the executive head of any state department, agency or institution as this state's member of the Board, and thereafter such appointed member shall serve on the Board at the pleasure of the
Governor. An executed counterpart of each letter of appointment by the Governor shall be filed with the Secretary of the Board. Added by Laws 1965, c. 255, § 2, emerg. eff. June 21, 1965.
