The status of positions that have been exempted by executive order and positions previously authorized to be exempt from civil service rules are not affected by this act. Laws 1981, c. 254, § 6, operative July 1, 1981. Amended by Laws 2025, c. 206, § 2, eff. Nov. 1, 2025.
