§70-3-120. Board approval of programs using state funds.

The funding of programs with state funds appropriated to the State Board of Education which are to be awarded through a competitive application process or on a contractual basis shall be subject to final approval of the State Board of Education. The Board shall be responsible for the review and evaluation of the programs throughout the term of the funding or contract. The Board shall ensure that all state funds are expended in an appropriate manner and for the purposes stated in the application or contract. Added by Laws 1995, c. 305, § 5, eff. July 1, 1995.
