A teaching principal, as defined in Section 1-116 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes, shall be permitted to devote less than one- half (1/2) the time school is in session to classroom teaching only when it has been determined by the State Board of Education that such action is necessary for the satisfactory completion of the
school year. The State Board of Education shall adopt the necessary criteria to provide for such contingency. Added by Laws 1982, c. 342, § 8, emerg. eff. June 2, 1982.
