In case any railroad corporation shall refuse or neglect, for a space of thirty
(30)days after notice given by the board of county commissioners, to comply with the provisions of the preceding section, it shall become the duty of the county commissioners of each county through which any such railroad shall be in operation to erect such signs, and the company shall be liable for all expenses so incurred by said commissioners. R.L. 1910, § 1429.
