A. Every person licensed to practice osteopathic medicine by the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners shall report within fourteen
(14)days any criminal investigation in a jurisdiction which concerns that person.
B. Every person licensed to practice osteopathic medicine by the Board shall report within fourteen
(14)days any action taken to limit their license, credentials, or other authorization to practice osteopathic medicine.
C. If a person licensed to practice osteopathic medicine in this state voluntarily resigns from the staff of a health care institution, or voluntarily limits that person’s own staff privileges at a health care institution or fails to reapply for hospital or staff privileges at a health care institution, the person shall report in writing such conduct to the Board within fourteen
(14)days. If the conduct occurs while the person is under formal investigation by the institution or a committee thereof for any reason related to possible unprofessional conduct or possible inability to practice osteopathic medicine, that conduct shall be included in the report.
D. Every person to whom a license to practice osteopathic medicine is issued has a duty to report to the Board, within thirty
(30)days, all information concerning medical malpractice claims settled or adjudicated to final judgment. Added by Laws 2025, c. 168, § 20, emerg. eff. May 12, 2025.
