Nurse Licensure Compact – Same rights and obligations.
A. The terms "registered nurse" and "licensed practical nurse" include persons licensed as registered nurses and/or practical/vocational nurses by a state that is a party to the Nurse Licensure Compact.
B. Unless the context indicates otherwise or doing so would be inconsistent with the Nurse Licensure Compact, nurses practicing in this state under a license issued by a state that is a party to the Nurse Licensure Compact have the same rights and obligations as imposed by the laws of this state on license holders of the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. Added by Laws 2016, c. 190, § 6, eff. Nov. 1, 2016.
