§59-1850.3a. Voluntary review of project plans and specifications.

The Construction Industries Board shall establish by rule a process for the formal review of the plans and specifications for a project prior to bid dates for the project to ensure that the project plans and specifications are in conformance with applicable plumbing, electrical and mechanical installation codes. The rule shall provide that the review shall be completed in a timely manner, not to exceed fourteen
(14)calendar days from the date of the submission of a completed application for review which is accompanied by the review fee not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) to be established by the rule. Upon completion of the review, the plans and specifications shall be returned to the applicant with documentation indicating either approval of plans and specifications which are in compliance with the applicable codes, or modifications which must be made to bring the plans and specifications into conformance. Submission of such plans and specifications for review by the Board shall be voluntary. Added by Laws 1994, c. 293, § 9, eff. July 1, 1994. Amended by Laws 2001, c. 394, § 55, eff. Jan. 1, 2002.
