§59-1611. Code of ethics.

A. The Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology shall publish a code of ethics. The code shall take into account the professional character of speech-language and hearing services, and shall be designed to protect the interests of the client and the public.
B. In developing and revising the code of ethics, the Board shall hold hearings where interested persons may be heard on the subject. In addition, the Board will take into account the ethical standards promulgated by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Added by Laws 1973, c. 203, § 11, emerg. eff. May 17, 1973.
