In any proceeding for the administration of the estate of a deceased person, whether testate or intestate, wherein it appears that the State of Oklahoma is, or may be, entitled to share in the distribution of such estate, the Governor of the State of Oklahoma is hereby authorized and empowered, in his sole discretion, to object, or to consent, upon behalf of the State of Oklahoma as such interested party, to the sale of any real or personal property belonging to such estate. Laws 1953, p. 250, § 2.
