§56-347. Guardian and conservator services.

The Department of Human Services is hereby authorized to contract for the services of guardians and conservators who will act on behalf of individuals that are recipients of services through the agency's programs including, but not limited to, the program for individuals with intellectual disabilities and the adult protective services program. The Department is authorized to reimburse such guardians and conservators for any expenses determined to be reimbursable by the Department and incurred as a result of their services as guardian or conservator. Added by Laws 1985, c. 291, § 8, emerg. eff. July 23, 1985. Amended by Laws 2019, c. 475, § 41, eff. Nov. 1, 2019.
