Services rendered by a licensed medical or osteopathic physician and surgeon in performing a sterilization operation on an adult male recipient of public assistance under age sixty-five
(65)who voluntarily has submitted to such operation shall, within the scope of its medical programs, be paid for by the State Department of Public Welfare. Added by Laws 1973, c. 4, § 1, emerg. eff. March 5, 1973.
