Any person procuring or attempting to procure any allowance for a person not entitled thereto shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than one
(1)year, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Added by Laws 1915, c. 183, § 7.
