§52-397. Violation of provisions - Misdemeanor.

Any person, firm or corporation, who violates any of the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Fifty
Dollars ($50.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for the first offense or by imprisonment of not more than thirty
(30)days, or both, and for a second or subsequent offense, by a fine of not less than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment of not more than one
(1)year, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Added by 1933, c. 165, p. 383, § 7, emerg. eff. May 1, 1933.
