§51-53. Oath - Concurrence of Senators.

When the Senate is sitting as a court of impeachment the Senators shall be on oath or affirmation, impartially to try the party impeached, and no person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two-thirds (2/3) of the Senators present. Added by Laws 1915, c. 131, § 3, emerg. eff. March 12, 1915.
