§47-1114. Lost, mutilated or destroyed license plate or decal -

Replacement - Prohibition of issuance.
In the event of loss, mutilation, or destruction of a license plate or decal, the owner of such registered vehicle shall file an affidavit showing such fact and obtain another plate or decal. Provided, that Service Oklahoma shall have the authority to prohibit the issuance of any replacement plate or decal if the license plate was seized pursuant to subparagraph b of paragraph 1 of subsection A of Section 7-606 of this title for failure to comply with the Compulsory Insurance Law until the owner or operator of the vehicle from which the license plate was seized complies with division
(2)of subparagraph b of paragraph 1 of subsection A of Section 7-606 of this title. The charge shall be Four Dollars ($4.00) for each replacement plate or decal.
