§47-1107.1. Verification and certification of mileage - Disclosure

A. In addition to requirements of Section 1107 of this title, the transferor of any vehicle shall verify the mileage at the time of transfer of such vehicle and the mileage so stated shall be shown on the face of the certificate of title to be issued to the transferee. The transferor shall disclose the mileage to the transferee in writing on the title or separate document attached to the title in a form to be determined by Service Oklahoma.
B. In the disclosure required under this section, the transferor shall also certify that to the best of his knowledge:
1. The odometer reading reflects the actual mileage; or
2. The odometer reading does not reflect actual mileage; or
3. The mileage is in excess of the mechanical limits of the odometer.
C. The transferor and transferee shall sign the disclosure statement and print their name. Added by Laws 1989, c. 290, § 2, emerg. eff. May 24, 1989. Amended by Laws 2022, c. 282, § 116, emerg. eff. May 19, 2022.
