§45-34. Office - Property of state.

The Chief Mine Inspector shall have an office at the seat of government in which he shall keep the maps and plans of all mines in the state and all records, correspondence, papers, apparatus and other property belonging to the state pertaining to his office. All such property shall be kept in accessible and convenient form, in a fire proof vault convenient to his office and furnished by the state, for reference by persons entitled to examine them. The Chief Mine Inspector shall not permit such maps, plans, records and papers to be removed from his office. Laws 1929, c. 251, p. 326, art. 3, § 4.
