§36-1435.39. Refusal of license - Fees not refundable.

A. If the Insurance Commissioner finds that the applicant has not fully met the requirements for licensing, the Commissioner shall refuse to issue the license and promptly notify the applicant and the appointing insurer, when applicable, in writing, of the denial, stating the grounds therefor.
B. If for any reason a license or appointment is not issued or renewed by the Commissioner, all fees accompanying the appointment
or application for the license shall be deemed earned and shall not be refundable except as provided in Section 24 of this act. Added by Laws 1997, c. 418, § 77, eff. Nov. 1, 1997. Renumbered from § 1425.8 of this title by Laws 2001, c. 156, § 35, eff. Nov. 1, 2001.
