§29-7-102. Pensacola Dam - Fishing limitations after closing dam.

Whenever the gates of the Pensacola Dam, commonly called the Grand River Dam, or any of its spillways shall be closed by proper authority, fishing in the waters within a distance of one-half (1/2) mile below such dam or spillways shall be limited to sport fishing for a period of twenty-four
(24)hours after such closing, and shall
then be open for commercial fishing for a period of forty-eight
(48)hours after the expiration of the twenty-four
(24)hours from such closing. Nothing in this Code shall prohibit the taking of game or nongame fish by noodling during the times and in the waters described in this section. Laws 1974, c. 17, § 7-102, emerg. eff. April 8, 1974; Laws 1975, c. 251, § 1, emerg. eff. June 2, 1975.
