The clerk of the district court of each county of this state may provide forms for jurors and witnesses individually to voluntarily designate any fees due to them to be donated to an agency or agencies established for the prevention of child abuse. All designated fees shall be placed by the district court clerk into a special account within the county treasury. The board of county commissioners shall make disbursement from the account as recommended by a committee which shall consist of five
(5)members as follows:
1. One member shall be the district court clerk or a designee;
2. One member shall be the Presiding Judge of the Juvenile Bureau or the judge of the district court who has juvenile docket responsibility or a designee;
3. One member shall be a community volunteer with expertise in child abuse appointed by the board of county commissioners;
4. One member shall be the district attorney or a designee; and
5. One member shall be the chair of the board of county commissioners or a designee. Added by Laws 1994, c. 343, § 20, eff. Sept. 1, 1994.
