§27A-2002. Lead-acid battery retailers - Signs.

Any person offering lead-acid batteries for sale to end-use consumers shall post and maintain a sign at or near the point of display or sale to inform the public that lead-acid batteries are accepted for recycling. For purposes of this act, a "lead-acid battery" means a lead-acid electrical device used in boats, planes and motor vehicles. Added by Laws 1993, c. 341, § 2, eff. Sept. 1, 1993.
