Any person, firm or corporation organized under the laws of this state, or authorized to do business in this state, to furnish transportation of persons as common carriers, with permission of the Corporation Commission, after hearing and showing that public necessity and convenience requires the establishment of a joint or union station or terminal at any point served, shall have and exercise the right of eminent domain to acquire joint user of any existing bus station or terminal property, in the same manner provided by law for the exercise of eminent domain by railroad corporations. Laws 1951, p. 65, § 1.
