§26-5-108. Adopting name of incumbent prohibited.

No person may become a candidate for any office who adopts or has adopted a name identical or similar to that of the incumbent of such office, or of any candidate who has previously made public announcement of his candidacy for such office. Laws 1974, c. 153, § 5-108, operative Jan. 1, 1975.
