Any person who shall solicit or accept from another anything of value for withdrawing from any political contest as a candidate or
nominee for any office at any election shall be deemed guilty of a Class D1 felony offense. Added by Laws 1974, c. 153, § 16-108, operative Jan. 1, 1975. Amended by Laws 2025, c. 486, § 488, eff. Jan. 1, 2026.
