It is the intent and purpose of this act to relieve counties of the burden of storing or keeping useless files and records where microfilm is not economically feasible. It shall be the duty of the court clerk to record in a permanent docket book, or on a permanent docket sheet, the disposition of each case before disposing of the regular file, or make a notation "disposition unknown" on said docket sheet in all criminal cases except traffic offenses. Added by Laws 1969, c. 287, § 2, emerg. eff. April 25, 1969.
