§2-4018. Resident veterinarians — Payroll — Insurance benefits.

The Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medicine Authority is authorized to place resident veterinarians of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine on the Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medicine Authority payroll, and is further authorized to acquire health, life, and dental insurance for such residents. Such residents shall not be considered employees of the Authority and shall not be eligible to participate in the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System. This section shall not preclude the right of the Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medicine Authority to terminate, for cause, the practicing privileges of any
resident veterinarian within the Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medicine Authority. Added by Laws 2023, c. 297, § 18, eff. July 1, 2023.
