§18-590. Community fund or chest corporations - Notice of meetings

- Quorum.
Any corporation organized under the laws of this state as a community fund or community chest, or that may hereafter be so organized, may give notice of the time and place of any regular or special meeting of its members by publication for not less than two
(2)weeks previous thereto in a newspaper of general circulation in the city or town where the principal office or place of business of the corporation is located. At any such regular or special meeting, the members present in person shall constitute a quorum, and a vote of a majority of such quorum shall be sufficient to transact any or all business properly before such meeting, including the adoption or amendment of bylaws.
