§14A-6-102. Applicability.

(1)This part applies to persons who in this state make or solicit consumer credit sales, consumer leases, and consumer loans; or who directly collect payments from or enforce rights against debtors arising from the sales, leases, or loans previously specified wherever they are made.
(2)In relation to the powers of the Administrator to administer the provisions on disclosure (Parts 3 of Articles 2 and 3) and the right of rescission (Section 5-204), a consumer credit sale and a consumer loan shall include the transactions covered in Sections 2-301 and 3-301 and those excluded by Section 1-202(5). Added by Laws 1969, c. 352, § 6-102, eff. July 1, 1969. Amended by Laws 1982, c. 335, § 54, operative June 1, 1982.
