§11-17-113. Publication of city financial statements.

Any municipality subject to the annual audit requirements of Section 17-105 of this title shall cause to be published, within thirty
(30)days of receipt of its annual audit report, a notice of availability of the annual audited financial statements for public inspection. All publications mentioned in this section shall be made in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipality. The provisions of this section shall not apply to any city governed by charter where the charter provides for the manner or procedure for publication of such financial information.
