§10A-2-7-902. Definitions.

As used in the Oklahoma Juvenile Code:
1. "Agencies and programs comprising the juvenile justice system" means:
a. the courts, the District Attorneys Council and offices
of the district attorneys, state and local law
enforcement agencies, juvenile bureaus, the Department
of Human Services, the Office of Juvenile Affairs, the
Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth, the
Department of Corrections, the Oklahoma State Bureau
of Investigation, any other state agency responsible
for the care, custody or supervision of youth alleged
or adjudicated to be delinquent, and
b. to the extent that they are responsible for the
provision of services to youth alleged or adjudicated
to be delinquent, including but not limited to
educational, treatment or residential services, local
school districts and technology center schools and
other public and private agencies not otherwise
specifically included in subparagraph a of this
paragraph, comprising the "children and youth service
system" as defined by Section 600 of Title 10 of the
Oklahoma Statutes;
2. "Juvenile court personnel" means those persons responsible for juvenile court intake, probation and parole supervision and services to youth alleged or adjudicated to be delinquent;
3. "Juvenile Justice Information System" means the automated information system established by Section 2-7-905 of this title;
4. "Juvenile offender" means a delinquent child or juvenile as defined by Section 2-1-103 of this title; and
5. “Juvenile Offender Tracking Program" means the program of information, information sharing and case tracking established by Section 2-7-903 of this title. Added by Laws 1991, c. 296, § 2, eff.
