NRS 624.281 Fee for license issued in expedited manner; reimbursement to Board for costs and expenses; regulations concerning application for license issued in expedited manner. [Effective through December 31, 2029.]
1. Except as otherwise provided in this section, if an applicant wishes to have a license issued in an expedited manner, the applicant must pay a fee for an application equal to two times the amount of the fee regularly paid for an application pursuant to subsection 1 of NRS 624.280 .
2. Except as otherwise provided in this section, the applicant must pay one-half of the fee required pursuant to subsection 1 when submitting the application and the other one-half of the fee when the Board issues the license.
3. Except as otherwise provided in this section, in addition to the fee required pursuant to subsection 1, the applicant shall reimburse the Board for the actual costs and expenses incurred by the Board in processing the application.
4. If the Director of the Department of Business and Industry issues a declaration of shortage pursuant to NRS 624.243 , the Board shall not charge an applicant in a rural area any fee pursuant to subsection 1 or for the costs and expenses incurred by the Board, as described in subsection 3, in processing the application until the declaration of shortage is no longer in effect.
5. The Board shall adopt regulations prescribing the procedures for making an application pursuant to this section.
6. As used in this section, “rural area” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 624.243 .
