NRS 608.530 “Home care employee” defined.
1. “Home care employee” means a person who provides:
(a)Personal care services through a home care program as an employee of a home care employer that is an agency to provide personal care services in the home;
(b)Personal assistance through a home care program as a personal assistant for whom a home care employer that is an intermediary service organization is the employer of record; or
(c)Temporary respite services through a home care program as an employee of a home care employer that has entered into a contract with the Aging and Disability Services Division of the Department of Human Services to provide such services.
2. As used in this section, “personal assistant” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 449B.510 .
