NRS 433.641 Maintenance of records. [Effective July 1, 2026.]
1. A person or entity that employs a natural person or retains an independent contractor for the purpose of serving as a certified prevention specialist or providing or supervising the provision of peer recovery support services in a position where the natural person has regular and substantial contact with minors shall maintain records of the information concerning such employees and independent contractors that is collected pursuant to NRS 433.639 , including, without limitation, the written authorization for the release of information from the Statewide Central Registry for the Collection of Information Concerning the Abuse or Neglect of a Child established pursuant to NRS 432.100 .
2. The records maintained pursuant to subsection 1 must be:
(a)Maintained for the period that the employee or independent contractor has regular and substantial contact with minors; and
(b)Made available for inspection by the Division at any reasonable time and copies thereof must be furnished to the Division upon request.
