NRS 293.57686 Establishment of system for electronic transmission of voter registration information; requirements for system.
1. The Secretary of State and each automatic voter registration agency shall cooperatively establish a system by which voter registration information that is collected by the automatic voter registration agency must be transmitted electronically to the database created by the Secretary of State pursuant to NRS 293.675 for the purpose of registering a person to vote or updating the voter registration information of a person for the purpose of correcting the statewide voter registration list pursuant to NRS 293.530 .
2. A system established pursuant to subsection 1 must:
(a)Ensure the secure electronic storage of voter registration information collected by the automatic voter registration agency, the secure transmission of such information to the database created by the Secretary of State pursuant to NRS 293.675 and the secure electronic storage of such information in the database; and
(b)Enable the county clerk to receive, view and collate the information into individual electronic documents pursuant to NRS 293.57693 .
