NRS 286.668 Forfeiture of rights and benefits under System for conviction of certain felonies; return of contributions upon conviction.
1. Except as otherwise provided in subsections 2 and 3, a member who is convicted of or pleads guilty or nolo contendere to any felony involving:
(a)Accepting or giving, or offering to give, any bribe;
(b)Embezzlement of public money;
(c)Extortion or theft of public money;
(d)Perjury; or
(e)Conspiracy to commit any crime set forth in paragraphs
(a)to (d), inclusive,
Ê and arising directly out of his or her duties as an employee, forfeits all rights and benefits under the System.
2. Upon a conviction described in subsection 1, the System must return to the member, without interest, all contributions which the member has made and which were credited to the member’s individual account.
3. The provisions of subsections 1 and 2 apply only to persons who become members of the System on or after July 1, 2015.
