NRS 271.190 “Publication” and “publish” defined. “Publication” or “publish” means publication in at least one newspaper of general circulation in the municipality and published at least once a week. Except as herein otherwise expressly provided or necessarily implied, “publication” or “publish” also means publication for at least once a week for 3 consecutive weeks by 3 weekly insertions, the first publication being at least 15 days prior to the designated time or event. Unless otherwise so stated, it shall not be necessary that publication be made on the same day of the week in each of the 3 calendar weeks, but not less than 14 days shall intervene between the first publication and the last publication.
Any publication herein required shall be verified by the affidavit of the publisher and filed with the clerk.
