NRS 248.180 Collection of execution after expiration of term of office. Any sheriff, at the expiration of his or her term of office, having any execution or final process which the sheriff may have levied and not collected, shall be and is authorized to proceed and collect such execution in the same manner as if his or her term of office had not expired.
