The clerk of the city shall, within sixty days after publication of the assessing ordinance, prepare, sign, attest with the seal of the city, and file for record with the county clerk of the county in which the city is located, a claim of lien for the unpaid amount assessed against each tract or parcel of real property, plus penalties and interest which may arise thereon. History: 1953 Comp., § 14-52-24, enacted by Laws 1965, ch. 300.
