54:5-81. Notice, affidavits and certificate; indexing

The county clerk or register, as the case may be, shall index the notice, affidavits and certificates in the alphabetical index of grantors in the name of the delinquent owner, as shown by the certificate, and in the name of every person who has been served with notice as an interested party, as shown by the affidavit, and shall note in the margin of the original record of the certificate in the books of mortgages a reference to the place where the certificate and affidavits have been re-recorded as a deed.
The record shall be notice to all the world, and at the expiration of two years from the date of making the record shall, in the absence of fraud, be conclusive evidence of the service and facts therein stated.
