52:9Q-2. Members; appointment; term of office; compensation

The commission shall consist of nine members: one person appointed by the Governor, who shall be responsible to keep him advised of the work and recommendations of the commission; the Commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs; the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation; the State Treasurer; the Mayor of the city of Trenton; the Director of the Trenton Department of Planning and Development; the Business Administrator of the city of Trenton; the Director of the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and the Director of the Mercer County Department of Planning and Development.
The member appointed by the Governor shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor, and the other members shall serve during the term of the office by virtue of which they hold membership on the commission. The members shall serve without compensation in connection with the performance of their official duties as members of the commission.
