In accordance with the provisions of subsection b. of section 6 of P.L.1975, c. 217 (C. 52:27D-124b.) and with this act, the commissioner is authorized to administer and enforce federal manufactured home safety and construction standards pursuant to the "National Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974," Title VI of Pub.L. 93-383 (42 U.S.C. s. 5401 et seq.) and is empowered to do all things necessary to comply with that act and any regulations promulgated by the Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development pursuant thereto.
The commissioner shall make such reports to the secretary in such form and containing such information as the secretary may from time to time require.
