52:16A-83. Commission's recommendations for funding

12. At least once each State fiscal year after the board has determined that sufficient interest has accrued to provide grants to qualified organizations, the Commission shall submit to the board a list of endowment and financial stabilization projects that the Commission recommends to receive funding from the Trust Fund, based upon a priority system, ranking criteria, and funding policies established by the Commission pursuant to this act and N.J.S.18A:73-21 et seq. any rules or regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
The board shall review the list and may make such deletions, but not additions, of projects therefrom as it deems appropriate and in accordance with the procedures established by the board for such deletions pursuant to this act, whereupon the board shall approve the list. This approved project list shall receive moneys from the Cultural Trust for the purposes of effectuating this act.
