52:11-67. Legislative Budget and Finance Officer

Legislative Budget and Finance Officer. The commission shall appoint a Legislative Budget and Finance Officer, who by training and experience shall be well-versed in the fields of budget preparation and analysis, revenue projection, appropriation requirements, program analysis and fiscal management and control. The Legislative Budget and Finance Officer shall be the chief fiscal officer of the Legislature and the commission. He shall serve at the pleasure of the commission, shall devote his entire time to the duties of his office and shall be under the supervision and direction of the Executive Director.
Whenever in any other law reference is made to the Legislative Budget and Finance Director, the Executive Director of the Office of Fiscal Affairs or the Legislative Budget Officer, such reference thereto shall be to the Legislative Budget and Finance Officer in the Office of Legislative Services.
