5:8-21.1. Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission Fund

3. There is created in the Department of the Treasury a special nonlapsing fund, to be known as the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission Fund. Except as otherwise provided by law, all monies from fees, penalties or fines collected by the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission pursuant to the "Bingo Licensing Law" (P.L.1954, c.6; C.5:8-24 et seq.) and the "Raffles Licensing Law" (P.L.1954, c.5; C.5:8-50 et seq.) on and after the effective date of this section shall be deposited in the fund.
The money in the fund shall be administered by the State Treasurer and all interest on monies in the fund shall be credited to the fund. At the end of each fiscal year there shall be appropriated from the fund to the Department of Law and Public Safety, or its successor, such sums as may be necessary for the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission to implement and enforce the provisions of the "Bingo Licensing Law" and the "Raffles Licensing Law," as amended and supplemented.
