"Equity security" --(a) Any voting stock of a corporation, or similar security;
(b)any security which has been converted, with or without consideration, into such a security, or carrying any warrant or right to subscribe to or purchase such a security which warrant or right has been exercised; or ;
(c)any security having a direct or indirect participation in the profits of the issuer. The holder of a security described in subsection
(b)of this section shall not be required to qualify as a holder of an equity security prior to any such conversion or exercise of any such warrant of rights.
