45:3-3. Rules and regulations; seal; records; compensation and expenses of board members

The board may adopt all necessary rules, regulations and by-laws to govern its proceedings, not inconsistent with the laws of this State or of the United States; and may adopt a seal, of which the secretary-director shall have the care and custody. The secretary-director shall keep a record of all proceedings of the board, which shall be open to public examination. The board may also adopt rules and regulations for the examination and registration of applicants desiring to practice architecture in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, and for the affixing to and endorsement on architects' plans the seal, name, license number and title of the architect and may amend, modify and repeal such regulations from time to time.
Each member of the board shall receive as compensation twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each day that he attends a session of the board and shall also be paid his actual traveling and necessary expenses in and about the business of the board, but in no case shall the expenses of the board exceed the receipts thereof.
