24. Continuing education courses may be delivered in a classroom setting or via the Internet or video modalities, subject to the approval by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission of the providers and the content of such courses and of the measures utilized to ensure the security and integrity of the course delivery process. The commission may approve continuing education courses which include periodic progress assessments and the achievement of a satisfactory level of performance by the licensee on such progress assessments as a condition to continuing to a succeeding segment of the course.
The commission shall not require, as a condition of the receipt of credit for attendance at any continuing education course, that a licensee pass a comprehensive examination testing the licensee's knowledge of the entire course content.
