43:17-37. Local association, dissolution

A local firemen's relief association, incorporated or reincorporated under this article may be dissolved at any meeting thereof by a vote, by written or printed ballot, of two-thirds of the members present and voting in favor thereof. Notice of the meeting, and of the purpose thereof, signed by at least ten of the members, shall have been mailed to each person entitled to vote thereat at least twenty days prior thereto and published for three weeks successively, once in each week, in a newspaper circulating in the neighborhood where the association is located.
Notice of the dissolution shall be filed forthwith with the Secretary of State and the secretary of the New Jersey State Firemen's Association.
